By downloading, installing, or using Breon ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.
Breon is a wellness application that uses haptic feedback to guide breathing exercises intended to promote relaxation. The App is designed as a complementary tool for general wellness purposes only.
Breon is not a medical device. The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The breathing exercises provided are for general wellness purposes only and are not intended to treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.
If you have any respiratory condition, cardiovascular condition, anxiety disorder, or other health concern, consult a qualified healthcare professional before using breathing exercises. Stop using the App immediately if you experience dizziness, lightheadedness, shortness of breath, chest pain, or any other adverse symptoms.
The App uses the device's haptic engine to produce vibrations of varying intensity and duration. If you are sensitive to vibrations, have a neurological condition that may be affected by repetitive tactile stimulation, or have any implanted medical device (such as a pacemaker), consult your doctor before using the App.
Breon is intended to complement healthy sleep habits. It is not a replacement for professional medical treatment of sleep disorders including, but not limited to, insomnia, sleep apnea, restless leg syndrome, or narcolepsy. If you experience persistent sleep difficulties, please consult a healthcare professional.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the Apple App Store Terms of Service.
All content, design, code, and haptic patterns in Breon are the intellectual property of Kevin Liu. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or create derivative works based on the App.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Kevin Liu shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to personal injury, health complications, loss of sleep, or emotional distress arising from your use of the App.
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kevin Liu from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or your violation of these Terms.
Your use of the App is also governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) for Licensed Applications, available at apple.com/legal. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Apple's EULA, Apple's EULA shall take precedence to the extent required.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
